What Is Prototype Access?

Prototype Access gives you early access to new Luxonis hardware before it reaches full production.

These products are real, working devices, but they are still in active development. Prototype Access allows experienced customers to evaluate new hardware early, test it in real-world environments, and help shape the final product through direct feedback.

Prototype Access is not a preorder and not a concept preview. It is an opportunity to work with functional hardware ahead of general availability.

In exchange for early, ungated access, we ask Prototype Access customers to share feedback, report issues, and help guide final product decisions.

What to Expect From Prototype Access

When you purchase a product through Prototype Access, you should expect:

• Functional hardware: that is actively used internally and by select customers, with some features still in development
  

• Evolving specifications: performance, firmware, mechanical details, or connectors may change
  

• Limited availability: quantities are constrained and not guaranteed long-term
  

• Faster iteration: updates may arrive quickly as we learn from real-world use
  

• Direct feedback loops: Prototype Access works best as a two-way loop: early access from us, real-world feedback from you.
  

Prototype Access products will receive frequent:

• Firmware updates
  

• Software improvements
  

• Documentation updates
  

• Minor hardware revisions
  

These changes are a normal and expected part of the program.

What Prototype Access Is Not

Prototype Access products are not:

• Final production hardware
  

• Guaranteed to support every intended feature from day one

• Guaranteed to reach mass production
  

• Guaranteed to maintain the same pricing, availability, or specifications
  

• Intended for customers who require strict long-term supply guarantees or frozen designs
  

If you need a fully finalized, production-stable product with locked specifications, we recommend waiting for the general release.
